Description
My client, a leading FTSE10 multinational, is looking for a Solution Architect who has proven experience with R&D Solutions for an initial 4 month contract with likely extensions. The R&D function is embarking on the selection and implementationof a platform to support cross category toxicological evaluations and reporting to support operational efficiency as well as ensuring global regulatory compliance.
It is anticipated that the product selected will be heavily based on SAP or at least required detailed and extensive integration into SAP.
The Key Responsibilities are:
Document the AS-IS architecture for R&D function and provide an impact assessment for the introduction of the Project
Develop Reference Architecture for the Project
Support Project Manager in establishing architecture deliverables and governance for SI in project
Ensure Platform is designed and implemented according to technical standards and NFRs
Ensure that all the relevant Business Scenarios are covered with the appropriate Integration to the source and target systems where applicable
Ensure that the ultimate technical solution design is adhered to in the outlined Architectural Definition Document (ADD)
Essential Skills
. It is essential that you have experience in R&D solutions particularly solutions focussed on compliance in regulated industries such as Pharmaceutical, Tobacco or Chemical focussed FMCG.
Experience and strong skills in Solution Architectures (particularly Integration Architectures) and associated modelling techniques.
Strong experience of integrating Solutions to SAP
Ability to model current, transition and target state points of view at both a solution and above solution level of detail
Must be experts in the strategy, roadmap and vision outputs from the Architects, supporting the realisation of the elements within them
Experience in implementing one or more of the Leading Product Lifecycle Management systems Siemens, SAP, Dassault as defined by Gartner.
Experience of R&D systems within the Tobacco industry
