For a global operating client Next Ventures is currently looking for an IT Project Manager/PMO Lead.

Mandatory Skill or experience 1:

Role Title: 
Senior IT Project Manager in role of PMO lead
Business Purpose: 
Senior IT Project Manager role acting as PMO lead to manage and coordinate delivery of an agile ServiceNow implementation within tight business time lines. The role will require an intensive facilitation of coordination across various project/program work streams and also necessitates close liaison with the work stream leads, program managing team, business side clients as well as senior stakeholders. The engagement will ensure all essential contribution to support a successful journey throughout the entire program life cycle.

The position reports to program/project manager (IT Lead)
Role Description: 
Program/Project Focus
Manage and coordinate program/project support to drive overall activities in close liaison with work stream leads, program/project managing team, business side clients as well as senior stakeholders.
Support program management and work stream leads in delivering project scope On-Time, On-Budget and On-Quality.
Accountable and responsible for managing and measuring work across PMO team (~5 direct reports)
Accountable for maintaining the overall project plan (including proactive management of the critical path and risks associated with it), compiling status reporting and ensuring compliance aspects and program/project governance
Support delivery of program scope and achievement of milestones according the agreed timelines.
Maintain control over the project/program status and track effectively lists for open tasks, risks & issues, key decisions.
Understand current and future direction of Galileo program and ensure all project needs will be addressed appropriately.
Commit to and embody company beliefs and values of the company.
Define, track and publish KPIs, quickly mitigate any performance issues.
Support training activities and authorization in alliance with respective work stream leads.
Support onboarding of new joiners and maintaining the overall program resource list.
Support preparing/updating PMO process documentations and introductory presentation(s) for new joiners.
Support maintaining and administrating SharePoint project repositories.
Support planning, scheduling and facilitating periodic status meetings according to the defined meeting landscape.
Support other related tasks requested by program managing team.

Mandatory Skill or experience 2:

Risk Management, Reporting and Communications Focus
Support identifying, managing and remediating project risks and issues.
Ensure appropriate involvement of project leads including status reporting and resolution of escalated issues.
Manage escalations with various internal support groups and external service providers.
Report project status through defined PMO channels.
Compliance/Quality Focus
Ensure compliance to the validation methodology, GxP and other Novartis processes and procedures (where applicable).

Mandatory Skill or experience 3:

Key Skills and Experience required: 
Fluent in English - oral and written.
At least 5+ years of experience in IT PMO roles of similar scope.
At least 8+ years IT Project Management experience.
Successful track record of successful and full delivery of Service Management implementation/transformation programs in GxP environments.
Experience with MS Office Tools, MS SharePoint and MS Project.
Teamwork in a challenging IT environment.
Ability to work in an International as well as multicultural environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility and experience in prioritizing tasks.
Ability to deal with variable workload.
Demonstrable leadership skills within a global Matrix organization.
Strong outcome-driven mindset.

Experience with IT Service Management processes as per ITIL

Certification in Project Management
