Purpose of Role
To assist in the monthly reconciliation of income and expenditure under Temporary Accommodation Schemes
To assist in developing and maintaining a financial support service for the Central Systems & Finance Manager & Housing Demand Finance Officer that is responsive and focused on service delivery
To provide statistical and reporting data regarding the monthly reconciliation including private sector payments to suppliers
To take lead responsibility for reporting data regarding the income and expense generated form temporary accommodation.
To Interrogate financial systems including Agresso web and Back Office and prepare excel spreadsheets in order to undertake monthly and end of year accruals & reconciliation to be reported and agreed with corporate finance management
To obtain collate monitor, retain and provide regular statistical and financial information pertaining to the monthly reconciliation process.
To provide support and cover in absence of the finance officer in housing demand
To undertake the relevant training to assist with the Central Systems Finance Manager & Finance Officer
To undertake other duties at a similar level of responsibility as may be required from time to time
Essential experience, knowledge, skills & abilities
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (including Maths and English)
Good excel skills- Intermediate/advanced levels
Ability to produce clear reports using standard IT packages including the effective presentation of numerical information
Use of financial management systems
Ability to manage multi project priorities within set deadlines
Ability to prepare, present and communicate data
