Auditor/Finance/3 months/Nottingham/£300pday
This Role is working for a large public sector company who are looking for a Financial Auditor to deliver the audit service in accordance to the requirements of the company's internal audit standards.
The Senior Auditor will be responsible for the delivery of audits to internal and external clients. Developing a strategy to minimise the risk of fraud and investigate potential or suspected fraud.
Key responsibilities-
- Carrying out the more complex audits, including irregularity investigations as required by the Audit Managers and Head of Internal Audit
- Liaising with departmental managers to discuss audit scope and outcomes
- Providing advice on financial and other controls to appropriate customers
Education and knowledge-
- AAT or equivalent. MIIA or CCAB accounting qualification would be an advantage
