Export Clerk
Yoh solutions is seeking an versatile Export Clerk for one of our top clients who are having a recruitment drive. My client develop some of the most innovative technology. In house development, manufacture and distribution of specialist scientific equipment. Specialist Hardware and Software solutions get integrated into the machines. The job role is to help deliver for the business goals of growth and customer satisfaction. Export team sits between the in-country commercial Operations team to manage the shipping of stock and co-ordinate delivery of finished goods for the assigned product groups on a local and Global level.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Maintain Safety stock log using Sharepoint for the assigned product groups
- Liaising with Manufacturing for the available finished goods
- Maintain stock settings and all orders in ERP
- Organise safety stock meetings with PSS
- Expertise in shipping
- Maintain control sheets using Excel
- Import/Export experience on a Global scale
- Ensure dispatch dates are maintained against ERP systems
- Reviewing of warehouse transfer orders and expedite as necessary
- Sharepoint request spares log to be updated with all latest information
- Support dispatch specialists when required
- Ad hoc activities and project assistance when required
Essential:
- Proven experience of working in Engineering environment
- Previous knowledge within a large organisation
- ERP Systems- Syteline- SAP or equivelent
- Accomplished in order execution, logistics and dispatch
- Intermediate use of MS packages
- General understanding of wider business processes
- Excellent literacy and numeracy
- Attention to detail
Location: Near Cambridge
Duration: 6 months (Initial)
Start: ASAP
Hourly Rate: £13 p/h
