Financial Reporting Accountant - Leeds - Negotiable - 6 months
Role:
Month end and Year end financial accounting
Financial reporting activities including IFRS16 preparation
Statutory accounting and reporting
Provide expert technical accounting advice to a range of stakeholders;
Work with key stakeholders:
Developing effective relationships whilst demonstrating appropriate challenge and influence to enable key Departmental and Financial Operations objectives to be
Ensure that all regulatory and statutory requirements are met;
Review existing and/or introduce new policies and procedures for the management of tax Provisions and Contingent Liabilities.
Candidate requirements
Full membership of CCAB accounting institutes, CIMA or recognised equivalent
Strong technical accountant
Good understanding of IFRS
Audit - liaising with auditors and sign off statutory accounts
Oracle experience - desirable
Business Objects - desirable
Financial Reporting Manual (FReM). - Desirable
IFRS16 - desirable
