Description
Strategy Manager urgently required for our Central Government, Glasgow based client on a 23 month initial contract + possible extensions.The successful candidate will support the Head of ITS (Intelligent Traffic System) Systems on reporting on how the branch is undertaking projects and works aligned with the Future ITS Strategy.
Role includes:
- Support the creation and future updated of ITS Action Plans to set out our priorities for on-going and future interventions, including managing external contributors where relevant.
- Work closely with fellow Operations colleagues to categorise the works and projects being taken forward against the Future ITS Strategy and Action Plans, recording the benefits to be realised.
- Providing reports on how the Branch are fulfilling the Future ITS Strategy, including the creation of annual progress reports.
- Support the preparation of a project selection and categorisation process to agree works and projects to be taken forward across the Branch that align with the Future ITS Strategy within the constraints of available finances.
- Support the Head of ITS Systems in preparing Costed Delivery Plans to allocate and manage budgets across the Operations branch that are aligned with the Future ITS Strategy.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role. Public Sector experience is also preferred however not essential.
