I am looking for a SDR Architect/Consultant (m/f/x) for a long-term freelance project based in Vienna.Start: flexible / asap )
Location: Vienna, Austria - on site!

Duration: long-term (6 month contracts + extensions)

Tasks:
*Consulting Technical Lead
*Pointing out possible problems now or in the future
*Giving advice
*Development of a „Working Prototype" and systems design
Skillset:
*deep knowledge in signal processing and RF
*Knows and understands what is written in space communication protocol CCSDS
*Run a few SDR projects as system architect or equivalent
*Designed receiving and transmitting path of a SDR modem
*NO SDR: as SDR is pretty new, as an alternative GMU Radio experience may be suitable too
*Sound knowledge in Scrambling, Filtering, Frame encapsulation/decapsulation, Modulation, Viterbi, Reed-Solomon, LDPC, scrambling, equalization, Convolutional coding, Demodulation, jitter compensation, Doppler recovery etc.
*Familiar with C++, experience with GitHub and JIRA
