Description
The PM is responsible for managing all technical aspects of this Engagement. The PM will have to look at the engineering considerations, and coordinate all technical input on the kaltura platform integration, operations and testing.2. Experience of managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
3. Demonstrable technical and operational experience in digital video, consumer electronics, or a related field.
4. Knowledge of video cloud platform and embedded video clients for STB, mobile and web.
5. Experience working with partners, systems integrators and third-party developers
Ability to influence and effectively communicate with technical and non-technical partners and vendors (both working level and executive communications)
6. Experience with content delivery networks, encoding, DRM, and Packaging, cloud platform like AWS.
7. Excellent working knowledge of Digital Video channel, including a strong network of existing contacts, ideally from a selection of the following: CE companies, game consoles, set top boxes, SOC and middleware, broadband service providers/CDNs, telcos, and wireless operators.
8. Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle, including detailed requirements gathering, functional specifications, technical design, development, test, implementation, deployment and maintenance.
