Description

For our client from the food processing technology industry we are looking for a Head of PMO (m/f/n) in Perm to support the team

Start: As soon as possible
Volume: Full-time
Location: Düsseldorf
Position: Permanent

Day-to-day:
* Functional Management of the PMO team
* The Project Management Officer (PMO) is responsible for the operational guidance,
documentation and metrics related to the practices surrounding the project management and
implementation of projects within the organization.
* The PMO ensures successful project planning, monitoring and completion while improving
customer satisfaction.
* The PMO enables project managers to take a systematic and qualitative assured approach to
project management, which can reduce risks and improve quality.
* The PMO defines, maintains and implements a project management framework

Tasks:
* Management of governance, performance, schedule, budget, resources, quality, communication of
project
* Administrative project support including project milestone and deliverables tracking, scope and
requirements management, project reporting, documentation of business processes as standards,
tracking project resources
* Reporting and cooperation with portfolio manager
* Project management support including project preparation of project managers, project planning
and scoping, project team coaching and assistance, enforcement of predefined project
management methodology and its implementation to ensure consistent quality across projects
* Definition, maintenance and implementation of a project management framework (processes and
methods for the planning and execution of projects).

Skills:
* University/ FH degree in IT, business or engineering
* Several years related work experience in project management or PMO
* Leadership Experience of 1 to 3 years
* Methodical competencies in the area of ITSM and project management (e.g. ITIL, PRINCE2,…)
* Best practices of PM
* Exceptional collaboration and partnering skills
* Ability to work with a team of people with varied backgrounds
* Drive to consistently improve the processes related to the PMO function
* Experience setting up a PMO Team (nice-to-have)
* Language: English fluency, German beneficial
