Currently, we are looking for experienced Cost Estimators to join an exciting transformation project within our largest Defence programme. You will be working directly on site, liaising with the client and the wider team based in the South West.
You will be responsible for the development of cost models for a number of projects along with additional input into the investment appraisals and business case costings. You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills and will be required to liaise with multiple Senior Stakeholders and Project Sponsors.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing verification/validation of deliverables by using estimating techniques/methodologies
- Conducting sensitivity and cost driver analysis to ensure accurate calculation of project cost elements
- Developing cost estimating output reports
- Leading the scoping, design and creation of simple models
- Preparing estimates for agreed packages of work
- Analysing data from various sources
- Identifying cost trends and compile management information
Key Experience and Skills:
- APMP qualification, membership of ICEAA or ACostE.
- Knowledge and/or experience acquired through education to A Level, or equivalent qualification such as ONC or BTEC (Level 3).
- Experience of project environment and knowledge within a Defence environment.
