Role:For our client - a big pharmaceutical company - we are looking for a highly motivated and qualified Project & Change Manager (m/f/x) to work in Basel.
Background:
Our group brings together a broad range of expertise in business operations practice, allowing our pRED Operations colleagues in other areas to focus on their areas of expertise.
- Manage the pRED Operations portfolio
- Drive best practice via effective operating models and frameworks
- Ensure timely and relevant business reporting to enable effective decision making for pRED Operations
The key focus of the role is to manage, organise and coordinate activities and practices to optimise value and support the change to Embed ServiceNow PPM in pRED Operations in an agile way. ServiceNow PPM is an enterprise project portfolio management system, growing in usage across business units, that was introduced to pRED Operations in February 2019, and that introduced several new ways of working for project, portfolio and operations managers at the same time. The Embed SNow PPM project addresses obstacles to user adoption through broad ranging reviews of working practices and technical configuration.
You will provide strategic guidance to the project team to ensure that the project delivers the desirable outcome.
Perfect Candidate:
We are looking for an experienced project manager with solid knowledge of change management principles. The system has been implemented and now the focus will be on processes alignment. Therefore, we need someone able to understand the IT behind the system and able to communicate clearly with all level of stakeholders to create an overall alignment on processes. To be able to jump in, we need someone with a previous experience in PPM (ServiceNow, Clarity, Planisware, Planview, etc).
Your main tasks & Responsibilities:
- Formulate, organise and monitor project tasks
- Support, coach and consult project team for the agile framework
- Develop and control deadlines and activities
- Establish and maintain effective partnerships with all affected stakeholders
- Create and implement project and change management strategies, plans and solutions that maximise employee adoption
- Build sustainable support for delivered solutions through provision of change management (e.g. engagement activities, stakeholder communication, training, etc.), guidance and strong stakeholder management and customer support skills
- Apply risk and resource management
- Monitor and assess project performance and aim to maximise value
- Facilitate resolution of project issues and manage risk
- Undertake project reporting for project lead and steering committee in a timely and effective way
You have the following skills and experiences:
- Min 5 years as PM working on large and complex projects in big companies, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector
- Experience with enterprise PPM system
- Solid knowledge of change management principles (e.g ADKAR); certification is a nice to have
- Project management certification (PMP / PMI)
- Excellent communications skills and stakeholder management
