SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER AND ARCHITECT - AZURE / BI / DWHProject / Role:
For a renowned company in the financial services sector in Zurich we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer and Architect with expertise in MS Azure, who will participate in the design and implementation of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) as a first step towards a long-term BI / DWH solution.
Requirements:
You have proven practical technical skills in the following areas:
-BI / DWH / Azure architectures, full DWH solution lifecycle, Data Modelling, Metadata, ETL / Dataloads
-Azure Cloud services / components
You have proven previous experience in the implementation of the following technologies:
-Azure Databricks, HDInsight, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, Power BI
-Data virtualisation (e.g. PolyBase)
-You have experience in Financial services.
-You ideally already live in Switzerland.
Languages:
-Fluent in English (written & spoken)
