Our Blue Chip Utility Client requires a Finance Systems Implementation Lead. Please note this will be remote during Covid & may involve occasional travel to Reading/elsewhere in future. Please note this must be via an Umbrella & you must have demonstrable experience as a Finance Systems Implementation Lead.
Skills Required - Technical
The role demands proven experience as a Finance Systems Implementation Lead has must have worked on a broad range of projects.
This role is looking for someone who comes from a finance/accountancy background but has moved into the IT space and understands the detail of what is needed for finance systems to be implemented.
Activities
- Assisting in the selection of and management of the roll-out of several new financial tools across the business.
- Working with the wider project team to bridge the gap between IT and Finance business unit to help define the overall solution that will meet the business requirements
- Ensure best practices for overall IT implementation.
- Data analysis.
Skills & Previous Experience
- Qualified accountant would be an advantage
- Extensive Systems Accountancy design and implementation experience
- Capable of bridging the Finance/IT areas to lead the implementation across project streams
- Experience of implementing financial systems from both finance and IT perspective
- Oracle EBS would be an advantage
- Experience of use in a BAU environment
- Consolidation/aggregation/analytics systems experience
- Agile methodology experience
- Identifying target state architecture, presenting solution options and implementing
- Re-engineer business processes and experience of working in a large and broad finance function
