The ability to manage and develop a large cross-site team.
Experience of statistics and data development and modernisation, in particular driving change.
Experience of stakeholder engagement at a strategic level as well as operational level, being an advocate and champion for effective partnership working, including with ministers, senior officials and other government departments.
Experience of managing a broad programme of analytical work.
Good working knowledge of statistics regulation and professional standards including the role of the UKSA and the requirements of the Code of Practice for Statistics.
Demonstrated analytical and technical ability and experience with data and statistics.
The post requires experience of statistics publication and knowledge of the statistics regulatory framework and is therefore most likely to be suitable for a statistician. However, the post is open to all analytical professions.
