Compliance Officer - London
Prestigious London based client requires an accomplished Compliance Officer to manage compliance efforts as they relate to moderately complex regulatory and policy requirements. You will analyse existing and proposed legislation, regulatory announcements, and industry practices, and help the client develop and implement procedures to meet these requirements. The Compliance Officer will validate control processes to ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations and assist business unit managers in response to reports issued by regulatory agencies or audit. This role is inside IR35 and is paying £823 per day, via umbrella.
Essential:
*Extensive experience in an auditing or compliance role.
*Knowledge of regulatory and policy requirements
*Previous experience of implementing compliance procedures and validating control processes
*Thorough knowledge of Financial Services rules and regulations.
*Good problem solving skills
*Ability to liaise with internal clients, stakeholders and regulators
