Parity Group are delighted to partner with our client, a prestigious public sector organisation, who is looking to recruit an Information Assurance Lead for an initial 6-month contract basis.
You will receive a competitive daily rate of between £ and the contract will see you outside IR35.The role is Edinburgh based but will be remote working for the foreseeable.
What will you be doing?
- Working to improve the organisations Information Security Management System (ISMS), and the development of its broader assurance offering.
- Responding to the outcomes of audit and other assurance findings
- Moving the existing ISO27k aligned ISMS to a position of 'certification readiness'
- Leading the identification, analysis, prioritisation and control implementation of non-technical security risks
I would love to hear from you if you have a strong understanding and background in nontechnical information security and risk management and knowledge/skills including:
- Risk management practice and information assurance functions
- Aligning security documentation to required recognised standards and leading organisations through significant security certification activities, such as ISO27001
- Building security capability, training and awareness or security exercising programmes
- Designing information security incident management procedures
- Relevant industry certifications eg CISSP, ISO27001 ISMS Lead Implementer, Lead Auditor or equivalent
