On behalf of our client, an international finance institute located in Luxembourg, we are looking for an external resource with skills and abilities as stated below:
Job: Functional Analyst - Risk Monitoring - Reporting (f/m/x) financial area Luxembourg - P020
Field of activity
The Functional Analyst creates detailed and realistic business and functional requirements associated with proposed projects.
He/she translates both business and technical opportunities and challenges into a tangible and actionable format and provides objective advice on the assessment of the possible impacts of various courses of action.
Optional: he/she produces, documents and validate functional test cases.
Tasks/responsibilities
- Support in the definition of risk monitoring requirements and risk monitoring thresholds for the new security lending product, respective data analysis
- Updates to operational guides and credit documentation
- Support in the set-up, test and documentation of the respective IDP, to automate related reporting.
Qualifications/required skills
- Graduate degree in the Quantitative discipline.
- Relevant experience in the development of Risk Frameworks and Methodologies, or related assignments
- Good understanding of financial markets and pricing of fixed-income instruments, familiarity with securities financing products
- Strong analytical background, solid understanding of system landscapes, attention to details
- Mandatory good knowledge and proven experience in VBA/Access, database querying (SQL). Additional experience with MatLab/R/Python or alike is an advantage.
- Familiarity with relevant risk management regulations and guidelines (CSDR, MaRisk, CSSF 12/552) will be considered of an advantage
- Communication skills, proactiveness, ability to effectively work under the tight deadlines
- Excellent command of English language
Assignment:
- Fulltime (100%)
- Start: ASAP
- Location: Luxembourg - 50% Remote Work possible
- Duration: 3 months + option of extension
