Training Expert - Quality Assurance Findings Management - Vice President/Assistant Vice President

Reporting to the Training Team Lead you will be a member of the Findings Quality Assurance Training team within the Bank's Technology, Data & Innovation (TDI) function. The team is responsible for developing and conducting professional training solutions within TDI to improve and maintain the knowledge about Findings Management Lifecycle Events (eg finding closures) for compliance with the Findings Management Policy and Regulatory Requirements.

This role requires training experience within an audit, risk management or compliance function of a financial institution, as well as excellent communication and coordination skills.

The key responsibilities are summarized below:

  • Supporting the design and delivery of high-quality training material (English/German) for classroom sessions and E-learning formats (eg interactive PowerPoints, Video formats, mobile Learning Solutions, Animations, Quiz/Test), which holds up to industrial standards (eg applicable for CPE credits).
  • Support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art methods to evaluate, track and monitor training success criteria/results for their reporting to senior management on an ongoing basis.
  • Facilitating classroom trainings and/or interactive virtual learning sessions in English/German.
  • Provide follow-up support to trained employees with generic and individual training sessions on a need to do basis.
  • Closely interact with the QA team in order to identify best practices of Findings Management methodology to be reflected within training solutions on an ongoing basis.
  • Support the Training Team Lead with his administrative tasks (eg project progress reporting) and his interaction with TDI Senior Management and other DB functions (eg Human Resources) where required.

The individual will need to be self-motivated and innovative, efficient and able to engage stakeholders effectively under pressure. Being resilient and responsive to ad hoc requests is key. The candidate will also need to demonstrate:

  • Training experience gained ideally within an audit, risk management or compliance function in the financial industry
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Confidence, drive and enthusiasm, coupled with a positive attitude and a delivery focus
  • Excellent team working capabilities and an ability to build strong business and team relationships
  • A high level of personal integrity, as the role may require the handling and management of information related to sensitive or business confidential topics.
  • A willingness to accept responsibility
  • Strong analytical competency with appreciation of risks, regulatory requirements and controls generically and specifically to banking
  • Creative, innovative and pragmatic
  • Experience in the use of standard IT applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is expected
  • Strong English communication skills both oral and written, German a plus
  • Professional Certifications for Training and Coaching are a plus

This is a £400 PAYE role (Subject to employee tax deductions).
