Work according to the SAFe framework based on 5 product teams, where there are mainly 3 teams that are affected by these AWS migration activities. The PL for this migration initiative holds together the plan for the entire initiative and follows up that the epics and stories that are defined are performed by the teams within the framework of the program increments planned by the teams. PL acts as a stakeholder against the teams and ensures that they receive a basis for PI planning which activities need to be carried out.
PL also has a budget for the project where funds are set aside to strengthen the teams with competence in cases where it is needed. This is done in collaboration with our development manager who assists with procurement and resource allocation.
Part of the project is also about change management in connection with the introduction of new technology to the teams where training etc. is needed for the teams to be able to take on new responsibilities with the introduction of devOps.
