Life Insurance Actuary urgently required to work on an initial 6 months contract with possibility for extension
Location: London/WFH
The ideal candidate will have a proven Life Insurance Actuary background with experience working within the Central Government. The ideal candidate will have active SC clearance.Skills & Requirements:
- Experience of management roles across the commercial life cycle
- Life insurance and technical actuarial experience
- Key financial and life insurance risk areas for insurers and the actuarial controls needed to ensure these are prudent
- Actuarial/technical competence of Solvency II including capital modelling requirements
- Experience with The Financial Regulators - (PRA)
- Demonstrate knowledge of the life insurance market in the UK
- Ideally Professional actuarial qualification (such as Fellowship of Institute & Faculty of Actuaries or a substantial amount of experience
