MDM Business Analyst for Strategy & Tooling RFP - Remote and Ghent, Belgium - English speaking - 5 months+

Blue chip client is urgently looking for a MDM Business Analyst for Strategy & Tooling RFP.
You will be required to work 2 days per week onsite in Ghent, Belgium and can work 3 days per week remotely
Assignment Description: WS-D: Data Governance & Mgmt is supporting the client digitalization by defining and implementing 8 Products: Data governance model, Data structure & modelling, Data compliance & security framework, Right to use (Data Contract & Consent Mgmt), Data catalog and metadata management, Access and data Marketplace, Quality management and Master data management and architecture.
Within the initiative there will be focusing on a Tooling strategy and RFP covering data marketplace, data catalog, data quality mgmt. and MDM, including reviewing how it should impact existing MDM implementations (ie next generation of client Data Catalog, available COTS tooling, KPI tracking and data cleansing). For each of 4 core data management solutions to be considered in the tooling Strategy and RFP we need to define details of capabilities:
Metadata Management - Solutions that catalogue, scan and index Metadata allowing users to: o Identify and understand Data o Define Data and create a shared understanding around them o Apply Data Gov roles to validation workflows o Expose Data quality o Expose Data compliance levels Data Quality Management (DQM) - Solutions aimed at improving and maintaining Data quality, which includes functionalities that allow: o Deduplication o Data enrichment o Data matching and merging o KQI based Data quality validation & reporting Master Data Management (MDM) - Complimentary set of solutions aimed providing a Single Source of Truth for Master Data, through: o Removal of duplicates o Standardization methods o Eliminating or override incorrect Data o Dispatching correct' to source or user systems Data Marketplace - Solutions that allow data users to find pre-curated data for various end user needs, through a consumer-like platform connecting providers and consumers of data o Navigate and discover pre-packaged data o Access management o Data visualization and prepared data analysis
