Description

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Scrum Master to join our government client on a data warehousing project. You will be working alongside the current data warehouse project team to facilitate all aspects of Agile Scrum.

The role will cover the complete data warehouse development and testing life cycle.

To do this effectively, you will need to have experience of data warehousing projects in order to understand how to structure and plan work. This role will cover a variety of different business areas and helps support the provision of BI throughout the organisation.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Recent experience in an Agile environment where Scrum is common practice
  • Understand and facilitate Scrum ceremonies and make sure they are effective
  • Recently worked on large data warehousing projects
  • Able to identify team inefficiencies/pain points and resolve or escalate where required
  • Able to create both project and resource plans for large pieces of work or time periods
  • A confident speaker and able to communicate with all levels of the business and directly with customers
  • Understand and remove blockers where required to allow sprint velocity to be maintained
  • Able to produce Sprint progress statistics, including velocity calculations and sprint review preparation
  • Resource management - review and manage the teams' workload to meet all sprint/personal and business objectives
  • Provide a supporting function to the Product Owner(s)
  • Scrum Master certified

You'll be working on-site between our client's location (near British Museum) and our location (Charing Cross).

£450/day (dependent on skills and experience).

You must be eligible to work in the UK and be capable of achieving government security clearance.
