Technical Author (Cyber) - PAYE Contract

MHC are hiring a Technical Author to join us on a PAYE Contract basis and work on-site at a London based Bank.
Role requirements:
The System-of-Systems Process Designer will operate under the Technical Director.
The primary goal for this role is to define and communicate technology policies & controls.
Tasks associated with this role include:
- Understand relevant standards and requirements from various sources
- Work with stakeholders across multiple teams to understand current processes and identify constraints
- Collaborate with the Technical Director to establish a target vision for key policies & control areas
- Create simple, understandable & actionable policies to achieve the target vision
- Review and agree the policies with stakeholders, ensuring their buy-in
- Own and maintain the document repository as the programme evolves and requirements change
- Communicate the policy guiderails to the teams
- Engage with internal assessments and audits as required, to provide evidence of our controls
Required Skills & Experience:
- Excellent written communication
- Building relationships and influencing people, including more senior stakeholders
- Broad familiarity with software development processes and cloud technology
- Experience working with governance and/or compliance processes
Desirable Skills & Knowledge:
- Agile development processes & DevOps methodology
- Microsoft Azure technologies
- Core technology concepts such as networking, identity & access management, business continuity & disaster recovery
