Agile Project Manager - R&D/Life Sciences - UX/Front End fuctionalities

Our Global Life Sciences client are looking for a Project Manager to join them for a long term contract role. You would be required to work on site in Bracknell as and when required.
We are looking for a PM experienced in projects delivering UX, Design and Front End functionalities rather than a technical project manager being in charge of infrastructure and technology projects
Role Purpose
Plan, manage and implement global complex scientific IT projects in a challenging R&D environment to achieve business objectives.
Demonstrate and promote professional project management according to industry best practice to successfully deliver projects as a reliable leader.
Act as a counterpart for the scientists to jointly develop the strategies for the project and work on challenging business process alignments and changes in an inspirational way.
Promote digital and agile ways of working, developing mindsets and behaviours.
Ensure that excellent IT services are provided to R&D by external technology partners.
Drive the supplier relationships required for your projects in partnership with the business, supply management and procurement.
Accountability's
- Lead and manage interdisciplinary project teams of experts and external partners and suppliers.
- Be an expert in stakeholder management and collaborate professionally. Facilitate independently large workshops with heterogeneous audience and drive effectively towards fully owned decisions.
- Maintain close links within IT on platform roadmaps and integration into the overarching enterprise architecture.
- Manage complex interdependencies with other IT projects in a skilful and competent way.
- Actively manage the cost of IT projects and work with the finance team to report accruals on a monthly basis
- Professionally manage delivery by internal and external suppliers and demonstrate high level of commercial acumen. Coordinate between multiple suppliers in an effective way which reduces overhead and enables fast and highly reliable delivery.
Experience required
- Several years of practical experience delivering IT projects in challenging environment with cross-functional stakeholder communities
- Solid experience with Agile change delivery
- Experience working with DevOps teams
- Several years of work experience with R&D in the life science sector highly preferred
- Initial track record in leading teams directly or indirectly in a Matrix environment
- Demonstrated ability to bridge information technology with business strategies
