Position: Business Consultant
IR35: Inside/PAYE
Location: Remote with travel expected across the UK
Start Date: ASAP
Contract duration: 6 month initial contract
Security Clearance: Active SC clearance
We are currently looking for a business consultant for our client who will be working on behalf of the UK Governments Geospatial Commission to deliver a project that will create a revolutionary digital map of the UK's underground pipes and cables.
The role will be working closely with technical experts, consultants and business development staff across our clients departments and will essentially be responsible for identifying and interviewing asset owners across the UK.
A working knowledge and demonstrable experience in all or some of the following areas:
- Ability to converse (both written and spoken) in the Welsh and English languages, and ability to translate between both as required.
- Experience of working collaboratively with senior stakeholders in technology-led transformation programmes, across strategy, business design and change management.
- Exemplary stakeholder engagement and management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels and in all forums from one-to-ones to group workshops and facilitation.
- Commercial awareness/understanding.
- Commitment to quality and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a utilities organisation would be advantageous
