SC Cleared Business Analyst & Data Analyst| 12 Month Contract + extension | £400-£600 per day | Inside IR35 | Bristol & Hybrid
iO Associates are proud to be partnered with a consultancy that has just won a new contract with a central government department.
They therefore need to bring on multiple Security Cleared Business & Data Analysts to cover the contract in full to ensure smooth running of the projects and workstreams. These roles will start ASAP so they require all applicants to have ACTIVE SC Clearance that has been used within the past 12 months.
If successful in securing this role, you will be involved in one of the biggest programmes affecting the central government Defence industry and there is much potential for your contract to be extended beyond the initial 12 months.
All SC Cleared Business and Data Analysts are encouraged to apply but existing experience in the defence industry will really be valuable here.
You must be happy with flexible on & off site work with the main office base in Bristol. It will likely be 2 or 3 days per week on site depending on workshops and key meetings etc.
Key Skills for Business Analyst:
- Active SC Clearance
- Running analysis projects and assessing processes based on data analytics
- Determining the present and future business processes
- Maintaining the quality of IT services and products
- Installing elements of systems design, including wireframes, business rules, data migration rules and other detailed deliverables
- Developing training literature and materials to speed up processes
- Facilitating the discussion of requirements among stakeholders and documenting requirements to provide data-driven recommendations
- Assisting with acceptance integration and testing and developing project plans
- Reporting to business leaders and stakeholders
- Gathering intelligence from corporate executives and middle mangers about needs and future growth
Key Skills for Data Analyst:
- Active SC Clearance
- Using data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
- Organising and transforming information into comprehensible structures
- Using data to predict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole
- Performing statistical analysis of data
- Using tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs
- Preparing reports and presenting these to management or clients
- Identifying and recommending new ways to save money by streamlining business processes
- Monitoring data quality and removing corrupt data
- Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
