Genesys Consultant

Our client is one of the UK's leading solutions and managed services provider of contact centre & unified communication solutions.

I am looking for a consultant with a high level of expertise around the Genesys platform to deliver training to end users, produce and deliver detailed documentation and user guides whilst also supporting the solution analyst team in their delivery of Genesys and associated technology.

You will be explaining Genesys Functionality, delivering training and completing discovery work with the technical team.

This role is a 6 month contract (with scope to be extended to 12 months), in fully remote and is inside IR35.

The ideal candidate will .

be mid-level and have worked to 2-3 large transformation projects
be comfortable working in a technically complex environment and has experience working with call centre/service centre technologies.
be good at co-ordinating activity, working with end-users, and communicating complex ideas to non-technical individuals.
be a good business operator and is comfortable generating and updating detailed documentation.
be able to support go-Live support activities (Genesys functional point of contact), has the ability to identify issues, troubleshoot those issues and provide recommendations to solution analysts
be able to work independently and take ownership of activities to drive them through to completion
be able to collaborate with service centre technologies administrators to ensure they are aware of any required changes
be able to interpret existing design documentation and undertake fit-gap exercises
be able to understand the concepts behind how telephony systems work and how they deliver calls to end users
be able to understands the concepts behind email and work assignment through routing rules
have test planning and test execution experience
be able to work with 3rd Party vendors to provide clear requirements and manage any requests for clarifications from vendor To support the set-up of DVT, UAT, Training environments and ensure that all test scripts can be executed successfully by proper set-up.
be able to support users during UAT with any functional support during the Eden test phases. Troubleshoot and provide guidance to SCT Admins.

Preferable Technologies

Has experience delivering solutions onto Genesys PureEngage or similar service centre/call centre technology platforms
Has experience using Azure DevOps or similar technology
Has had exposure to a CRM system, preferably Salesforce, and understands the core concepts that support CRM systems
