Description

World Leading Energy Company has an exciting opportunity for a Information Management Advisor, to provide support and guidance to Staff and act as first point of contact for questions or issues related to information management (IM) and compliance.

The Role:
Act as primary contact for advice and guidance in the technical division/department for all IM compliance related matters including:
oInformation classification, labelling and protection;
oManagement of Records and Non- Records;
oInformation sharing, data privacy and trade controls;
oUse of approved IT tools to manage certain types of information;
Act as Functional Site Owner for SharePoint sites:
oMonitor correct use and expected labelling of records as defined in the ways of working.
oRemediate IM Compliance findings and escalate if required to IM Lead or IMCM.
oSupport on-boarding and off-boarding of team members and keep permissions up-to-date
Respond to organizational and business changes (eg mergers, acquisitions and divestments). This includes evergreening the Business File Plan.
Guide the implementation and use of the O365 platform (SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive) and tooling supporting IM compliance including:
oStructuring information to ensure simple processes for use of information and the labelling of Records (eg default setting which allow automatic record declaration);
oCommunicate and facilitate the completion of relevant training for users.
Assist the IM Lead and/or IMCM to manage and follow up on IM compliance incidents.
Ensure that any local IM guidance materials published align with Group requirements.

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
