We have recently undergone a major transformation to implement a cloud-based ERP system and update its Finance core processes. This begins our journey of continual improvement and transformation of the Finance core processes.
The purpose for this role is to continue this transformation journey and focus on the core processes to define, lead and deliver the continual improvement and transformation of Project to Retire (P2R) Finance core process.
The Project to Retire process is focused on our project and asset management and control. Ensuring that the end-to-end project life cycle is managed effectively and efficiently, enabling us to deliver our value potential. From project initiation, funding approvals, benefits realisation, including the Capital Portfolio to track project cost from the inception and cost management to project close; delivering, servicing and retiring of assets; including purchase commitments on OPEX spend.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that the P2R Finance core process is continually improved; and appropriately aligned and integrated to optimise business benefit and operational delivery and support.
Skills and experience:
- Proven Systems or Programme Transformation planning and delivery experience, demonstrating delivery in the Project to Retire area. Expected to have at least 2 years' experience of leading functional teams on cloud-based, financial products.
- Project to Retire functional and business experience, understanding of P2R core business processes, benchmarking and best practice. A qualified Accountant.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills and be able to build relationships quickly with internal and external stakeholders.
