Training Lead
Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced Training Lead to work with a key client
Job Summary:
Accountable for all aspects of end user training delivered to the business globally in support of the core business processes supporting Finance, Procurement and HR. This includes training approach, planning, management of the training team (in programmes as required) and Matrix trainers within the business through Train the Trainer, delivery and maintenance of Training Material.
Key Contacts: Super Users, Project Business Leads, SMEs, Global Process Owners, Business Solution Experts/Functional Specialists, 3rd party solution and support providers
KEY OUTCOMES
* Training Approach: - Development and delivery of the overall training approach for Business Solutions - both project and BAU needs
* Planning: - all aspects of planning for training milestones and deliverables and ongoing management of risks and issues in regards to training
* Development of training Materials:
- all materials related to the delivery of training in agreement with the Business and Solutions team
- Curriculum mapping to ensure role-based delivery of training
- Maintenance of materials to agreed standards, focus on LMS style materials through Workday
* Management of the training team:
- Recruitment and deployment of resources for development and delivery of the training programmes are programmes are stood up
- Work closely with the change management team to lead the Super User Network for Business Solutions (may be various networks)
- Budgets agreed with PMO through project business cases
* Tools: -
- Delivery of tools required to support training delivery - focus on LMS workday where possible, video training, and new ways to engage our users in training
- Liaison with third party vendors and relationship management through projects as required
* Training Needs Analysis and User Scheduling: -
- Close cooperation with business leads to deliver roles and responsibility mapping in support of training programme
- Delivery of training schedule to the business for sign off and coordination of training invites to the user community
* Training Delivery:
- Ensure all super users are competent to deliver training and external trainers in place as required, focus on on-line training in various media styles will be a key part of this role

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* 8-10 years of managing and delivering training
* Good understanding of the finance, HR and procurement processes
* Good knowledge of training tools and methods

* Strong communicator in all its forms across all levels of the organization
* Able to work across multiple geographies, functions, work streams and projects with competing priorities, prioritising where appropriate and clarifying deadlines if required
* Decisive, 'can do' attitude whilst maintaining a clear focus on problem solving and seeing action through to delivery
* Excellent attention to detail, particularly in terms of content creation and presentation
* Must be comfortable to work on new initiatives and build from start
