Service Design Director - NHS Project
An experienced Service Design Director is required by a leading digital consultancy to play a central and strategic role on a large NHS project.
From championing service user needs and bridging them to government policy and regulatory frameworks; to understand and map the service context & formulate outcome-oriented hypotheses and concepts.
We're looking for someone with the following blend of experience:
- An expert in all facets of human-centred design and Design Thinking principles and methodologies
- Able to initiate and lead collaboratively with their teams
- Experience within design in an agency or consulting context
- Design leadership experience working across multiple projects where you have guided teams from design thinking through to delivery - encompassing strategy, workshopping, proposition, problem-space analysis, ideation and validation, measurement, prototyping and solution-side design.
- Experience in supporting Government Digital Service Standard assessments (GDS)
- Working in Lean and Agile delivery methodologies - an understanding of the practicalities and how best to guide others in the underlying principles
- Well informed design opinions based on research, data and insights.
- Guiding and mentoring members of your team to support their individual progression.
This is a 3 month 100% remote rolling contract paying £700 INSIDE IR35.
