Job Title: Programme Delivery Lead
Pay/Band: Band 8a (Contract)
Duration: 6-12 months
Description:
I have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager to join my client on a remote basis for a long-term contract, outside of IR35.
Working closely with the Senior Programme Lead and Associate Director of Programmes & Performance, you will develop new ideas, solutions, and strategies for improving patient care and clinical outcomes.
This is not just a typical EPR PRogramme Management position, my client is at the cutting edge of Health Tech Innovation. The organisation combines health science, and technical innovation to transform the way we monitor and improve patient outcomes at a national level; they are already internationally recognised and are led by renowned experts from health, social care, academia, research, and industry.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of something big. You will work remotely, although if you're close enough, they encourage infrequent office attendance as and when they deem it necessary. You will be paid as day-rate contractor in line with NHS Capped Rates (£300 - £400 negotiable per day), and the contract has been deemed outside of IR35. The scope and scale of their ambitions will offer you a 6-month contract with very realistic expectation for extension.
As a Programme Delivery Lead, you will have:
- Experience and evidence of working in transformation projects within the NHS
- Expertise in creation of complex Business Cases (including writing detailed PID and project management thereafter)
- Adept at using a variety of recognisable programme management tools and methodologies eg Verto and MS Project, PRINCE2, Agile & Waterfall
- Proven ability to work with senior system leads in both strategic clinical, commissioning, IG, IT and other core functions.
- Demonstrable excellence in communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
