Position: Application Project Manager - M365 migration project
Location: Remote based -wfh
Duration: 3 months rolling
Rate: £400-£420 per day

Specific scope of work:
This role is for an Applications Project Manager to deliver a variety of packaged applications ready for a new M365 environment.
The Applications Project Manager provides 'Traffic Control' between teams for all applications throughout the Applications Packaging life cycle. You will be the interface between us and the customer providing detailed management information and accountable owner as if part of their business. This role ensures that any application related project delays are managed and escalated to ensure the project maintains momentum as per agreed burn down rate.
This is a senior position and must have delivered Windows applications transformation projects to steer the programme around common project delays. The Applications Project Manager supports the business by helping to identify technical and procedural application issue resolution, maintaining End-User Migration Readiness and Application Lifecycle Management Systems.
This role will have overall responsibility for the project delivery, management and reporting of their services to support customers needs. This role will consist of working closely with Professional Services teams, external service providers, partners and packaging teams to ensure secure, consistent and high performance service is delivered to our customers
Required experience:
- Will have managed 2 or more Application Rationalisation and Packaging projects end to end.
- Qualified in a Project Management qualification (Prince2/Agile)
- Be able to demonstrate working with similar IT projects using best practice Project Management methodologies
- Evidence experience working with external clients and managing divisions within a company
- Experience of working within a technical programme environment
- Experience of delivering challenging projects in complex enterprises
- Strong skills in MS Products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Project and Visio
- Experience of implementing processes for applications rationalisation and packaging
- Be able to drive change through following the required governance
- Ideally come from an IT services background
- Experience in using an Application rationalisation and packaging management tool such as App Tracker.
- Knowledge and experience of packaging or using SCCM for deployment of applications
- Experience is delivering other technology related projects, preferably within the Windows 10/M365 sphere would be extremely beneficial, as there may be other projects outside of applications related projects to deliver.
