Description
Trilogy are partnered with a leading IT consultancy who have asked us to support them with an external 'Configuration Management' role for one of their end customers. This will be a two year project broken down into smaller extendable contracts.
The client are looking for someone with the following background/experience:
- Collection and distribution accurate information about all Configuration Items in the scope.
- Implementation the following activities on each CI: Identification, Control, Status accounting, Verification and Audit.
- Identification relationships between the CI's and the other processes: Incident, Problem & Change.
- Being involved into the CI's life cycle starts with procurement and ends with retirement or disposal of the asset, I am keeping up to date the information about the licenses.
- Prepare and deliver updated CMDB report on the quarterly basis.
- Defining & improvement of configuration management process.
This will be mainly a remote working role but would be great if you could do occasional travel to Luxembourg for interaction with the team.
