Job Designation: Project Manager
Job Description:
- Holds daily stand-up calls to coordinate resources & workload
- Resource allocation and planning
- Preparation of sprint content, dependencies management, & plan and direct releases
- Solution design technical components across the workstreams
- Development guidelines, coding standards, and creation principles oversight
- Expectation management with the team, peers, leadership and other related teams
- Production incident L3 support
- Platform maintenance planning (upgrades, certificates)
- Interact with internal and external customers to define strategies, distill needs to solutions and drive business results
- Evaluate third party technology products and solutions as part of the strategic, ongoing execution of the function technology roadmap
Qualifications:
- Degree/Master's in computer science/Engineering or 5+ years IT work experience equivalent
- Experience overseeing/working with Global teams, including onshore and offshore
- 5+ years of experience in managing/leading end to end systems development implementations
- Specializes in gathering and analysing information and designing comprehensive solutions that are flexible and adaptable to the business needs.
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
- Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter.
- Cutting edge innovator who continually studies new technologies and functionality and is involved in projects that push the capabilities of existing technologies.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, presentation/facilitation and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with people including project stakeholders and project team members, under tight deadlines and with multiple tasks at a time
- Experience using JIRA
- Demonstrated experience with object-oriented design and coding skills across a variety of platforms (J2EE Technologies, .NET, SOA/Web Services, REST API, JSON, HTML/HTML5, CSS3, XML, AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails)
- AWS experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience with distributed (multi-threaded) systems, algorithms, message queuing, and relational/XML databases
- Exposure to SQL and/or MariaDB and stored procedure development
