Solution Architect

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Solution Architect located in Gaydon or Whitley for an initial 6 Month Contract.

*THIS ROLE HAS BEEN DEEMED AS INSIDE OF IR35*

A Solution Architect is required to join an exciting IT & Digital programme, transforming the Financial Service offerings in several key markets as part of a Reimagine Strategy. This exciting opportunity will require working in a multi-organisations landscape to provide oversight of the technical aspects of the transformation, ensuring the solution fits within the landscape, and is delivered to high Standards. Role can be undertaken under hybrid working practices, however attendance on site at either Gaydon or Whitley should be expected 1-2 days a week as a minimum.

Skills Required:
Experience in a wide range of IT and Digital centric projects and programmes, delivering Transformational Business change within the context of financial services, ideally including regulatory change to core banking/CRM systems. Demonstrable experience of acting as the accountable technical authority on lead on major projects, working with multiple partners and providing the design rigour and authority. Previous API, integration and data centric implementations.

Experience Required:
Has evidence of holding overall accountability of major projects, which include an eco-system of partners and is able to build relationships and influence partners, ideally in the context of financial services, automotive or outsourcing.

Key activities will include:
- Participates in the relevant design and non-functional requirements process.
- Reviews design documentation.
- The creation and delivery of HLD documentation for project scope with our remit.
- Inputs Technical Criteria and assessment Identification/Shaping of POC (where relevant)
- Mange/oversee and in some cases execute the technical aspects of the POC Reviews Design Documentation from partners with a focus on integration and operability.
- Acts as a technical escalation and support queuing build and testing activity
- Supports development of suitable test strategy and approach.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested Build and manage relationships across multi-disciplinary work groups.
- Act as a knowledge hub between business stakeholders and internal and external delivery teams

Experience Preferred:
An appreciation of IT infrastructure change projects and thus an ability to anticipate the type of concerns that should be mitigated through proactive engagement and communication
