They are looking for someone with:
- Deep understanding of the media industry, which should include experience with multiple media companies, preferably international
- Experience of working within a start-up business, with an understanding of essential entrepreneurial skills
- Experience of taking a senior and client-facing role in consulting engagements, including influencing the direction of projects and managing more junior members of the team
- The ability to use hypothesis-driven problem solving to develop an approach to solve strategic problems for media companies
- The ability to quickly absorb information from interviews, data, reports and other information sources, in order to produce succinct analysis of a situation
- Project management skills, delegating work as appropriate to analysts, internal experts and external freelance experts
The role also requires an element of Business Development so will suit someone who enjoys identifying new business leads and creating business cases to be used to convert these leads into client engagements
