Applications Support Manager-NHS/Oracle
Our NHS client in London require an Applications Support Manager
-Manage two applications support teams totalling 12 permanent and contract staff.
To ensure that a prompt and effective applications support service is provided to internal customers, meeting service level agreements and performance targets.
The applications supported include
Silverlink Patient Administration System
CITO
OpenEyes
Galaxy
Medisoft
Others will be added to this list over time.
To manage the upgrade of our Oracle environment and the migration of existing application to the new Oracle implementation. To oversee other application upgrade or implementation projects.
To monitor the development path of applications, ensuring that our applications remain up-to-date, secure and are being used according to best practice.
To develop an overview of the applications and data landscape of the trust, identifying interdependencies and connections between applications to assist in providing support and to identify opportunities for rationalisation..
To provide or direct business analysis activities in the definition of new projects.
Essential experience:
Experience with managing applications support and working with service desks to improve service responses. Team management. Dealing with Legacy internal applications: support and replacement. Project management experience. Business analysis experience.Experience of working with Oracle systems. Contract management. NHS experience preferred.
