Our client is urgently looking for a Supply Chain Solution Architect on a contract(Inside IR35) initial 6 months and is likely to extend(long-term). The Solution Architect would be working on a critical Supply Chain Transformation Project, focused on supporting technology transformation and solution design across application platforms provisioned within the cloud and on-prem environments. With an agile approach to service delivery, you will ensure continuous solution design standards are aligned to meet an ever-changing business landscape.

Key Responsibilities
- Able to review Logistics and supply chain technology and business landscape and suggest the way forward in order to achieve the business goals with technology replacements/upgrades.
- Analysis of Technology landscape specifically supply chain, Logistics, and impacted downstream.
- Define target technology roadmap and milestones in order to achieve the ongoing supply chain transformation journey.
- Oversee all ongoing programs and change initiatives in this supply chain estate and create dependency plans, Risk and mitigation plans, and other program-level technology implementation plans.
- Analysing and documenting enterprise/technical-specific requirements.
- Participate in technology selection and Creation of solution design and validation
- Engage with innovation activities aligned to business future state strategy.
- Translate project-specific needs into a cloud structure that will suit those needs and consider the project needs in terms of resource usage and scalability.
- Designing the cloud environment from a holistic point of view, ensuring it meets all the Project requirements.
- Overseeing cloud security and the integration of new applications into the cloud environment.
- Keeping on top of usage of space in the cloud and making sure the structure is operating at full efficiency.
- Working with business clients to understand their needs and to implement the cloud strategies designed to meet those needs.
- Conducting migration, where necessary, to bring tools and other elements into the cloud.
- Active participation with continuous service improvement processes.
- Experience technology transformation, integration, and service transition.
- Ownership of multiple integrated applications throughout their life cycle within, hybrid and on-prem environments.
- Strong experience in supply chain logistics would be advantageous.
