Description
Procurement Manager is require by my global client to work on a high profile CapEx programme of works.
PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE
Deliver Procurement outcomes on Capital projects note: projects contain a significant Civils element and therefore strong capability and experience in civils procurement is desirable.
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Leading or supporting Sourcing activities associated with the allocated project.
- Supporting end-to-end procurement management through the execution of the execution of the works including any additional sourcing, supplier performance management, stakeholder management, variations, risk management, project updates and escalation management.
- Working in close collaboration with the technical team to assure all project KPI's are met.
- Identify and appropriately manage all opportunities and risk as the projects progress.
Category-specific requirements
- Ability to carry out complex Capital tenders RFI/RFP driving value in both the capital costs and life cycle costs.
- Ability to execute Pan-regional and global sourcing exercises with multiple business stakeholders analyse, recommend and secure business alignment.
- Ability to work with regional teams in the execution of sourcing recommendation and ongoing supplier performance management.
- Strong track record across CapEx category management, sourcing and relationship managemen
