Our Public Sector client is looking to recruit a Digital Transformation Lead on a 8 month initial contract. 496pd

Reporting into the CTO your role will be to lead on the Digital Transformation elements of major programme of change which will change how health and care is delivered.

The key components to be delivered include:

  • Lead and support activities to enable the MY CARE consolidation and optimisation at RD&E
  • Technical design and build of the Warranted Environment which will host (the Trust is the host provider) and deliver Epic EPR to end users across multiple hospital and community environments (approximately 4,000 users);
  • Data Conversion and Interfacing from Legacy information systems to Epic;
  • Testing management across the above components and to include the whole of the Epic application suite;
  • Cutover planning for all activity associated with Epic;
  • Provide the Health Informatics SME Assurance across the Epic Clinical Application Design and Build;
  • Supplier management.

Your key duties will include:

  • Securing the engagement and involvement of Service Areas
  • Monitoring scope and progress as well as programme planning
  • Information Assurance
  • Establishment of a robust governance structure and standards
  • Report and manage risks and issues
  • Ensure business readiness
  • Provide expert advice
  • Lead on the delivery of workshops
  • Reporting to Senior Stakeholders
  • Manage Change Management
  • Financial Management and reporting
  • Leadership of a Team

The ideal candidate will have the following skill and experience:

  • Prince 2 Practitioner of MSP Qualified
  • Experience delivering IT or Digital Transformation ideally in a NHS or Healthcare setting
  • Programme planning, reporting and governance
  • Communication and engagement skills
  • Managing multiple suppliers and resources
  • Delivering IT related projects such as infrastructure, etc
  • Experience of the procurement process including OJEU/Framework procurement

Please note this role will be mainly based onsite in Barnstaple however remote working with occasional travel to site will be considered. Onsite working during the go-live period will be an essential requirement.

Day Rate: Up to £496 per day INSIDE IR35 via a Umbrella Company.
