Description
Our renowned government client is currently looking to recruit a Finance System Project Manager (Financial Systems Implementation) on an initial 6 month contract.
The successful candidate will have previous experience delivering a similar financial systems implementation as a Project Manager with experience leading, controlling and delivering high risk business change based projects.
Job responsibilities
- Define and manage scope the project, ensuring that outputs/deliverables and the plans for their delivery are clear and agreed with stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain resource plans and budgets that align to the outputs/deliverables
- Direct and manage 3rd party suppliers and partners
- Build relationships with the project team, senior programme stakeholders and communicate with all stakeholders to ensure that decisions are focused on achievement of stated outcomes and benefits
- Manage and motivate the project team to ensure tasks are completed against the agreed project plan.
- Project reporting to senior stakeholders
- Managing risk and issues.
- Project budget and finance management
- Developing and delivering project communication plans
The ideal candidate will also be Prince 2 and/or APM certified.
The role is currently a remote home based role but may require a combination of remote and onsite working in the future.
Preference will also be given to candidates who hold SC Security Clearance however those eligible to apply will be considered. You will need to obtain BPSS Clearance prior to starting which takes 2-4 weeks and also have submitted a SC Clearance Application.
Day Rate: £411 per day INSIDE IR35 via a umbrella company.
