Description
A Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Public Health) is required for our client for an initial 3-6 month contract (with the potential for further extensions). Working remotely and ideally full time, however they can potentially consider part time (3-4 days per week).
To lead the provision of Business Intelligence relating to strategy, commissioning and performance for public health.
To act as the relationship manager, leading and co-ordinating activities to support:
- Surveillance and outbreak reporting, including Covid-19 data
- Commissioning and Needs Analysis such as the JSNA and PNA
- Performance Reporting to support the Health and Wellbeing Strategy
- Evaluation
- Implementing the Data and Business Intelligence Strategy
- Supporting culture change in using business intelligence
Experience
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in significant numerical/statistical content
- Experience of developing and writing health needs assessments, health equality audit and health impact assessments
- Significant experience of working with multiple sets of health-related data and information systems in health-related organisations
- Experience of data/insight report development and dashboard/report writing (tableau or equivalent)
- Experience in the use of statistical and epidemiological methodologies for interpreting and understanding data sets and specialist software to undertake these analyses
- Current public health policy
- Experience with Covid-19 data will be advantageous
