We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to join this global Energy company, to support the delivery of complex digital and data products across a range of commodities European Gas, Voluntary and Regulated Carbon, and global LNG, supporting the businesses role in the Energy Transition.

This is an exciting time to be joining this world-leading company as they transform themselves from a traditional Oil & Gas company into a leading name within the Renewables sector. This includes the creation of an already highly successful new Power Trading desk within the Energy Trading team as well as new ventures into various innovative solutions around the supply of Renewables including wind farms, electric vehicle charging, solar panel heating and battery storage. These innovative solutions provide opportunities for exceptionally highly talented individuals to contribute to the success of this transition where you will be working with some of the best people in the industry working on new and ground-breaking initiatives utilising the very latest technology.

About The Role:

As a Product Manager, you will be accountable for realising the business vision for a green credentials product within the businesses ecosystem of product offerings across Voluntary Carbon, Green Gas and Renewable Power, in addition to contributing to the product leadership across this portfolio.

You will:
- Help define the business vision: product KPIs, driving delivery towards optimising these KPIs and take accountability for the commercial and technical performance of the product
- User OKRs to align product objectives, and measure progress towards achieving these on a quarterly basis
- Ensure that business value is delivered each increment by partnering closely with the Product Owner to generate the Product Vision, roadmap, and strategy
- Work closely with a Technical Lead to direct delivery of the product, taking ultimate accountability for ensuring that the product is fit for purpose and functionally sound, applying agile delivery practices
- Proactively manage the formation, evolution and succession planning of the cross-functional product team, collaborating with sourcing partners to build and maintain an effective team with the right skills and behaviours
- Close monitoring of all delivery aspects (Budget/Resources/Stakeholders/Governance) associated to the development and operation of the product

Your Background Needs To Include:

Skills required

Business domain knowledge desirable

o Knowledge of Green Credential Products such as Renewable Power Certificates, Green Gas Proof of Sustainability, Carbon Credits, and their life cycle.
o Strong knowledge of trading and market drivers for one or more of our key commodities LNG, gas, power, or carbon/environmental products, including the importance of fundamentals (supply/demand/capacity/inventory/prices/trades/etc.)
o Understanding of the Life of a Deal (Origination, Trade Execution, Supply Operations, Contracts, Settlement etc)

Must have 5+ years experience as an agile practitioner across multiple methodologies (scrum, Kanban, XD) and with at least one scaling framework.
Able to communicate between the technical and non-technical stakeholders
Able to facilitate the delivery flow of a team, managing the pace and tempo.
Can actively address internal and external risks, issues and dependencies including where ownership exists outside the team.
Able to identify and challenge organisational processes of increasing complexity and those processes that are unnecessarily complicated.
Able to use data to inform planning and manage complex internal and external dependencies.

You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
