Description
Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a Business Architect for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of c.£600-£650/day (inside of IR35). Due to the current circumstances this role will be remote based for the foreseeable future and fully virtual applicants will be considered.Responsibilities:
- Provide Business Architecture support for shaping of projects within the organisation's change portfolio
- Be responsible for creation of high-level process models
- Be responsible for the production, maintenance and governance of the underlying architecture artefacts developed for the project that will contribute to the overall Enterprise Architecture Repository
- Support governance of key programme and project deliverables, ensuring modifications to architectures take account of relevant strategies, policies, standards, and practices.
Essential Skills:
- Significant experience of working as a Business Architect or Senior Business Analyst in digital transformation or service re-design programmes
- Working proactively with other Business Architects to ensure consistency of design across projects, regardless of the project delivery methodology.
- Can demonstrate experience in writing and collaborating in the production of architectural documentation to defined standards.
- Experience in Enterprise Architecture frameworks and modelling languages, TOGAF & BPMN is desirable
- Experience with process modelling and architecture tools
- Workshop facilitation skills to drive process models
- Ability to lead and take responsibility of project discoveries
- Comfortable presenting and pitching to Senior Management and Executives
- Collaborative team member able to work closely with technical architects.
