Programme Design Lead
Inside IR35 - 6 Month Contract
Leeds/Hybrid - 1 day per week on-site
One of the UK's leading consumer brands is in need of an accomplished Programme Design Lead to work on a major IT transformation programme, joining during the critical design phase.
The Programme Design Lead will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end design life cycle, working closely with teams of Business Analysts and Solution Architects, ensuring that business requirements are being captures, and business processes are mapped and documented.
Reporting into the Programme Director, the Programme Design Lead will also work alongside key third party suppliers & vendors, ensuring that robust functional designs are being produced, and ensuring that the correct governance and procedures are being adhered to.
The Programme Design Lead will also play a key role in ensuring a smooth transition into build and test phases of the programme, working closely with other technical and non-technical stakeholders across the transformation team.
Programme Design Lead - Key Requirements:
- Experience in overseeing and taking ownership of the design phase of major technology programmes
- Strong process mapping, requirements capture, documentation, and business impact assessment skills
- Previous experience working in Business Analyst or Project Management roles
- Excellent stakeholder management and supplier management skills
- Experience working in large, complex transformation programmes
- Any experience with SAP or similar ERP systems would be highly beneficial
- Familiarity with any of the following domains/sectors would be advantageous: retail, supply chain, eCommerce, logistics
The role will be based out of the client's head office in Leeds, West Yorkshire - however the requirement to be in the office is on a purely needs-must basis. This will likely average out to approximately 1 day per week over the duration of the contract.
