We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled D365 Functional Field Services Consultant to join their team for a twelve-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and enthusiastic consultant who will nurture needs and deliver Microsoft Business Applications solutions for existing and prospective clients. Working with the Business Analysis practice and client teams to design, build, oversee, and implement solutions using the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 customer engagement first-party applications.

  • Functional and technical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Applications (Field Service module).
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Business Process Owners in shaping the requirement to use OOB capability and provide low level design in case of customization.
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technology to translate business solutions, designs, and processes into development work for developers.
  • Hands on experience on D365 customization using plugin, custom WF activity & function app. This will enable to shape/size the requirements with the product owners.
  • Support D365 CRM applications through maintenance, form/dashboard & workflow customizations, end-user guidance.
  • Proactively document solutions, processes, designs and lessons learned.
  • Incorporate learnings into future solution design considerations.
  • Work closely within the technology team to shape the technical landscape of the assigned application processes and technology.
  • Identify and manage risks with timely reporting and escalation of such risks and issues.
  • Required Skills/Experience
    The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience of designing solutions in Dynamics 365 for Field Service and one or more of the Dynamics 365 customer engagement first-party applications: Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Sales Insights, Customer Insights, Customer Service Insights.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 & experience of working on full life cycle implementations across multiple versions of Dynamics CRM/365.
  • Experience of defining solutions on the Power Platform: Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Understanding of when to use Dataverse (common data service) and Dataverse for Microsoft Teams platforms.
  • Used to working in iterative deliveries, scrum or agile.
  • Able to write detailed Business Requirement, Gap Fit analysis, and Functional Design documentation.
  • Able to write high level and solution architecture designs.
  • Able to oversee testing of functions and the features being developed and confirm that they fulfil the business requirements.
