Description

My client, a leading FS services provider requires an experienced PMO to be engaged on a large-scale IT/Business Integration & Transformation programme and be responsible for moving the Portfolio/Programme forward as well as playing a critical role in driving and managing the programme's delivery performance.

Working directly with the Head of Transformation and Senior Programme Manager and Project Managers you will be responsible for leading PMO activities on the programme. The role will be 50% based in their Brussels office and 50% remote working.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring and maintaining governance controls and procedures are Embedded and tracked, proposing improvements where necessary.
  • Proactively monitor project execution to effectively identify and track risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Co-ordinate & submit status reports, as well help put together monthly SteerCo & Exec packs
  • Supporting the Finance team with ensuring resource forecasted costs are accurate
  • Working with stakeholders in Technology to keep a transparent and accurate view of the Technology portfolio.
  • Measure performance across the domain area, providing intelligence to support strategic/long term planning processes.
  • Producing tailored reporting/updates on the plan, communicating progress to key stakeholders as part of the Technology governance and steering framework
  • Drive a joined-up portfolio prioritisation process across Strategic Drivers and the Technology Plan
  • Facilitate regular portfolio review meetings with the leadership team
  • Track outcomes, forecasts and delivery to target, risks and issues
  • Working collaboratively across Portfolio, Resource, Excellence and products teams to ensure a joined-up approach to managing Technology delivery

Skills Required

  • Specific experience working within complex change delivery programmes across multiple Global markets, especially on M&A & Integration programmes.
  • 10 years+ Project or Portfolio Management experience, which includes communications capabilities, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding and proven experience of Programme and Project Management methodologies, including planning and tracking
  • Excellent understanding of risk, issues, and dependency tracking
  • Pro-active and positive attitude to planning and engagement, working across teams and functions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
