Service Design & Transition Manager
6 to 12 Month Contract - Inside IR35
Leeds/Hybrid/Remote
An excellent opportunity for an accomplished Service Design & Transition Manager, with strong ITIL experience, to join a leading UK brand during an exciting period of change and investment across the business.
The Service Design & Transition Manager will be responsible for overseeing a large portfolio of IT & Data projects, managing the transition of new or existing services into production, ensuring that they meet key acceptance criteria and fit the needs of the business.
Reporting into the Head of IT Service, the Service Design & Transition Manager will play a key role in shaping and delivering the data project portfolio, working closely with key stakeholders and external vendors to ensure services are being delivered into production efficiently, whilst managing risks, documentation, and reporting.
Service Design & Transition Manager - Key Skills:
- Previous experience working in a dedicated IT Service Management role
- Strong experience within Service Design & Transition
- Excellent ITIL knowledge and experience (qualification in ITIL will be highly beneficial)
- Experience working with technical data services or Business Intelligence teams would be an advantage
- Experience in setting and reviewing service acceptance criteria
- Previous experience working within a large IT programme with multiple workstreams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex IT environment
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with both internal and external stakeholders
This role will be based out of the client's head office in Leeds, but time spent on-site will be on a strictly needs basis - approximately 2-4 times per month. This role therefore will suit those who prefer hybrid/remote working or don't live locally.
